Governor Steve Sisolak’s Monday announcement that Nevada may join the 14 states that have fully or partially adopted Clean Car Standards is his latest policy to help Nevadans drive electric. He signed the Nation’s Clean Car Promise. His administration joined nearly two dozen other states to defend their right to protect their citizens from smoggy air. He even signed legislation to get more electric school buses on the road. If that seems like a lot of clean-car-focused policies for a governor who is less than halfway through his first term, you’re right — electrifying Nevada’s transportation sector will be a hallmark accomplishment of the Sisolak administration.
